Paratypes: BPBM 31972 (1). •Valid as Chaetodon dialeucos Salm & Mee 1989 -- (Randall 1995:249 [ref. 22896], Smith et al. 2003:303 [ref. 27125], Manilo & Bogorodsky 2003:S111 [ref. 27377], Heemstra & Heemstra 2022:450 [ref. 39746]). Current status: Valid as Chaetodon dialeucos Salm & Mee 1989. Chaetodontidae: Chaetodontinae. Distribution: Northwestern Indian Ocean: southern Oman. Habitat: marine.
