Chapman. •Valid as Praealticus semicrenatus (Chapman 1951) -- (Bath & Patzner 1991:52 [ref. 19212], Patzner et al. 2009:460 [ref. 30396], Allen & Erdmann 2012:831 [ref. 31980]). •Probably a synonym of Praealticus oortii (Bleeker 1851) -- (Bath 1992:296 [ref. 20223]). Current status: Valid as Praealticus semicrenatus (Chapman 1951). Blenniidae: Salariinae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Indonesia. Habitat: marine.
