Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:93 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Omobranchus kranjinesis (Herre 1940) -- (Springer 1972:14 [ref. 4178]). •Synonym of Omobranchus ferox (Herre 1927) -- (Springer & Gomon 1975:38 [ref. 6083], Smith-Vaniz 1976:149 [ref. 4144], Kottelat 2013:383 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Omobranchus ferox (Herre 1927). Blenniidae: Blenniinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
