Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:118 [ref. 12291]. •Synonym of Hemigobius hoevenii (Bleeker 1851) -- (Larson 1999:25 [ref. 24498], Larson 2001:73 [ref. 25522], Kottelat 2013:410 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Hemigobius hoevenii (Bleeker 1851). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
