Type catalog: Ibarra & Stewart 1987:83 [ref. 12367], Böhlke 1984:23 [ref. 13621]. •Valid as Atherinella colombiensis (Hubbs 1920) -- (Chernoff 1986:241 [ref. 5847], Dyer in Reis et al. 2003:516 [ref. 27061]). Current status: Valid as Atherinella colombiensis (Hubbs 1920). Atherinopsidae: Menidiinae. Distribution: (Pacific slope) Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
