Holotype: IHB 202109064273. Paratypes: IHB. •Valid as Bashimyzon cheni Gong & Zhang 2024. Current status: Valid as Bashimyzon cheni Gong & Zhang 2024. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: East Asia: You-Jiang drainage, Zhu-Jiang River basin, Guangxi Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
