Paratypes: AMS, BCPM, NSMT, SIO, USNM, ZMH. Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Gyrinomimus johnsoni Su, Paxton & Ho 2026. Current status: Valid as Gyrinomimus johnsoni Su, Paxton & Ho 2026. Cetomimidae. Distribution: Northern Pacific: between 12°N and 53°N. Habitat: marine.
