Description | Fabricated pin in form of butterfly; Body is made from sheet silver rolled into tubular shape and capped with silver bead for head and pair of silver raindrops as eyes; Wings are cut from single silver sheet, heavily die-stamped with numerous designs (mostly crescents and circles) then partially cut through center, bent to shape, and soldered to body; Pair of wire "antennae" are soldered to underside of body and extend out in front, curving back to wings; Hallmark of star is stamped on reverse. | |
