Two-tined iron fork with long cylindrical shaft connected to a brass, ivory and wood handle; Handle is alternating sections of wood and ivory with brass rings in between; Ivory has design in dots on it; From BRL 1982: “Fork; Unknown purpose or origin; Small handle of wood, brass and ivory, the ivory decorated with metal pins; Long shank; Short, straight, two-tined fork; Brass band on end may be a repair; Bailey fig. 21 shows a 16th century German serving fork of similar proportions.†|
