Description "Betty" type lamp (betty taken from the German word for better) consisting of shallow, flat-bottomed, pear shaped, closed grease reservoir; Open cylindrical wick channel extends up through end of cutout section in top cover of reservoir; Remainder of cutout area is covered with hinged lid which can be latched shut by turning rooster figurine; Armature extends up back of reservoir and curves forward; Hook for hanging lamp or impaling it into a timber is attached to end of armature; Bent strip on back hold hook for hanging or impaling.
