Description Large pitcher with flat base, flaring lower sides with maximum diameter at midlevel height, and wide shoulder rising to a wide, constricted neck with flaring rim; Large coiled loop handle is mounted in upright position on shoulder; Prominent spout in the form of a parrot-like bird whose elongated body forms the actual spout is mounted on shoulder opposite handle; Bird's head is turned back so its bulging eyes look back over its own back; Pitcher appears to be dark gray in color but completely undecorated.

Description Small round pitcher with flat base, rounded sides with pronounced shoulder ridge just above mid-level height, and wide mouth with straight rim and rounded lip; Single loop coil handle is attached vertically just below rim and at shoulder; Elongated U-shaped spout extends up and out from upper sides of pitcher Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and exterior is probably coated with buff-colored slip; Designs are painted in reddish brown color and consist of band of solid black triangles around the shoulder, with large pendant dots below the shoulder and along outer edges of the spout; Solid line frames the entire lip, as well as the handle.

Description Gold filigree and turquoise necklace with a gold coin pendant and thirteen six-pointed stars; Necklace is made entirely of gold, save a turquoise inset in each star; The stars each have three pendant drops suspended from them; Centered beneath the stars is a gold coin hanging by a V-shaped thin chain link; Coin is Turkish, of 100 kurush denomination; One side shows the tughra (seal or signature) of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed V with the number three below, indicating the coin was minted in the third year of his reign (1912 by the Gregorian calendar); The reverse design includes the year of the sultan’s ascension, 1327 (1909 by the Gregorian calendar); According to the donor, the necklace predates the coin, as the former had been in the donor’s family much longer and had been worn by her paternal grandmother in Rezaia, Ourmay, Iran, in the 1880’s to 1890’s.
