Description Round jar with flat base and flaring sides that curve upward to a high, well defined shoulder; Short neck curves inward to wide mouth; Interior and exterior surfaces are scraped smooth and slipped white, except for wide band inside rim and exterior underbody and base, which are slipped dark brown; Band of paired and hatch-lined terraced triangles encircles neck, while double band of very slender, contiguous red triangles (outlined in brown) encircles shoulder; 3 red and brown painted butterflies alternate with 3 appliquéd and modeled frog figures (painted red, brown, and white) to fill the space below the shoulder; Jar is unsigned.
