Description Elongated basket in the form of an alligator in walking position, woven entirely in open-spaced coiled technique over a bundle foundation; Warp material is pine needles and primary weft material is undyed raffia grass leaves; Alligator's body is oval-shaped and constitutes the actual "basket" with a flat base and vertical sides; Separate open-ended (at one end only) oval shaped basket is attached to one end of body in inverted position to form the animal's tail; Two separate and very shallow, open-ended (on one end only) are also attached to opposite end of the body, forming the head and hinged jaws of the alligator; Four separate coil-wrapped legs and feet are attached to sides of the body; Separate oval lid with interior lip fits into back cavity of alligator's body; Upper side of neck, body (including lid), and tail are covered with overlapping individual pine cone scales to represent the alligator's skin texture; Eyes and interior of mouth are woven of dyed red raffia grass leaves.

Description Effigy basket in the form of a turkey, whose hollow, oval body has a flat base and rounded sides that curve inward toward the rim; Corresponding oval lid is slightly rounded and has interior lip that fits inside basket's mouth; Both basket and lid are woven in open coiled technique over a bundle foundation; Warp material is pine needles and primary weft material is undyed raffia grass leaves; Turkey’s neck and head are fashioned from pine needle bundle that is coil-wrapped; Eyes are woven of dyed black raffia leaves; Tail is fashioned from lengths of raffia leaves that are looped through coils and extend out as fringe; Body is supported on pine needle bundle secured to underside, whose two ends are bent down to form the legs and the ends splayed to form 4 toes each, and all are coil-wrapped and secured to an oval coiled base.

Description Small round gift basket with flat base and rounded sides that taper in at rim; Coiled on 3-rod foundation; Exterior is completely covered in featherwork with a pattern of 3 small triangles in green mallard duck feathers on a background of red acorn woodpecker feathers. [In 1977 Pomo basketweaver Mable McKay, commented that this basket’s bottom is open, so the spirit would not stay in, thus signifying that the weaver needed to see further into the dream that first inspired this basket.]

Description Large jar-shaped water bottle with concave base, rounded body, high tapering neck, and tall wide neck with slightly flaring rim; Warp and weft material is sumac or willow shoots; Basket is woven primarily in plain diagonal twining, with several rows of 3-strand twining on base and along shoulder for extra strength; Warp rods are bent over at rim and coil-wrapped; Two carved wooden handles are bent into "U" shapes with outward flaring ends that are secured with coiled stitches to sides of basket just above and below shoulder; Rim is wrapped in black devil's claw; Entire interior and exterior of basket are covered with heavy coating of brown piñon pine pitch; Possible decorative wide line along shoulder is darker than surrounding area, possibly produced by using overheated (burnt) pitch, as underlying weft stitches are not dyed or painted.
