Description Deep oval berry picking basket with flat base and slightly flared sides that rise vertically; Basket is woven entirely in coiled technique over a probable 3-rod foundation; Rim is finished in herringbone weave; Warp material is cedar splints and the weft material is cedar roots; Design on exterior sides is woven in imbrication technique using natural bear grass leaves and dyed (black) cherry bark, and consists of vertical columns of open rectangles connected above and below by vertical bars; Band of small crosses encircles lower sides and plain band of bear grass encircles upper sides; Series of 5 short and 2 large leather loops is sewn below rim on one side and 3 short and 2 long loops on opposite side.

Description Small round basket with flat base, vertical sides and recessed rim, along with corresponding round, slightly domed lid with low sides that fit over the basket's rim; Warp material is cedar bark; Base of basket is woven primarily in simple plaiting technique, using cedar bark slats for both the warp and weft; Outermost portion of base is woven in plain twining technique, using rye grass stems as the weft, and the final row at junction of base and sides is woven in 3-strand twining; Sides of basket and entire lid are woven in wrapped twining technique, using bear grass leaves as the weft; Single cedar bark slat encircles top of basket, forming a recessed rim over which the warp fibers are bent and bound into the final row of twining; Designs are woven of dyed bear grass leaves and consist of purple band encircling mid-section of basket, with three black dugout canoes just above it (two of the canoes carry three men each and one carries two men); Designs on lid include purple band around center and three black swimming ducks (?) on top of lid and a second purple band along the rim.

Description Round basket with flat base made from sheet of birch bark; Straight sides are made from additional bark strip that is cut along one edge into a series of short tabs which are folded over and then glued to interior of basket's base; Lower sides of basket are covered with natural colored porcupine quills which are laid side by side vertically and sewn through base and at midlevel of basket; Upper half of basket is wrapped on exterior with additional bark strip that is probably glued in place and secured along with grass bundle around rim by widely spaced black thread stitches; Corresponding round lid of basket is constructed in same manner as lower half, but has added decoration of maple leaf on top, done in natural colored quills.
