Description Round jar with flat base and flaring lower sides, rising to a mid-level height shoulder that is encircled by a ruffled ridge; Above shoulder the sides taper inward as they rise to a wide mouth with a ruffled, everted rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Lower body below shoulder is covered with a red slip, while the exterior and upper interior portion of neck are covered with a white slip; Design field on neck is divided into two parallel bands, the lower one decorated with terraced red triangles outlined in brown and pendant from an upper brown framing line, while the upper band is decorated with smaller terraced red triangles outlined in brown and pendant from upper and lower framing lines; Ruffled ridges around shoulder and rim are painted brown.
