Description Large rectangular Transitional Period non-regional rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; All over design consists of three columns of concentric, terraced diamonds in blue-black, red, white,and medium brown on a carded gray-brown background, the latter forming a network pattern of horizontal zigzag bands; Concentric, terraced half-diamonds fill the remaining areas along the sides and ends; Rug is framed along all four edges with a band of contiguous red triangles on the inside and a reciprocating band of tan triangles on the outside; Rug does not have selvage cords; End cords are light brown (with some red wool mixed in) at one end and medium brown along the opposite end.

Description Large rectangular Transitional Period rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Borderless, banded design consists of multi-colored horizontal bands (red, black, tan, yellow-green, and orange) with sawtooth edges alternating with plain gray bands with sawtooth edges; Multi-colored band is repeated five times and the gray band is repeated six times; At each end of the rug is a band with a narrow black and white band on a red background, with only the innermost edge having the sawtooth edge; Selvage cords are red; End cords are gray on one end and gray and white on the opposite end.

Description Rectangular yei-style rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Design consists of row of six standing yei figures, each with deep gold-colored legs and faces; Two of the figures are dressed in red and hold red and white streamers in each hand and two others are dressed in medium brown and hold brown and black streamers; The two figures in the center are dressed in black and red, respectively and hold a red and gold staff between them, while the one dress in black holds a gold and black streamer and the one dressed in white holds a red and white streamer; A 7th guardian yei is located at one end of the rug, with its body continuing along the bottom and up the other side; Its face and legs are gold-colored, most of its body is black, and it is dressed in a medium brown and black skirt; All figures are woven on a medium gray background, and entire scene is framed along all four edges by an inner white border and an outer black border, whose edges are straight along the ends and share a reciprocating serrated edge along the long sides; Selvage and end cords are all medium gray; Typical of yei-style rugs, this one was woven longer than wide, although it is intended to be viewed wider than long.

Description Rectangular Chinle-style rug woven entirely in plain weft faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Borderless, banded design consists of horizontal bands including a design band of concentric serrated diamonds in dark blue, rose, and white on a light gray background, with the entire band repeated three times, alternating with plainer bands in the same colors; The bands at either end of the rug are plain straight edged bands, while the two plainer bands toward the center of the rug also include the beading technique, accomplished by changing the color of the weft yarn with each pass of the shuttle so that the same color yarn passes over or under only the even or odd numbered warps; Selvage cords and end cords are blue-gray in color. Compare this rug with CAS 2013-0003-0015, another rug by Ella Yazzie and whose design is identical.

Description Rectangular “Tree of Life” style rug woven entirely in plain weft-faced tapestry technique with non-interlocking joins; Design consists of a central stylized dark green cornstalk growing out of a Navajo wedding basket and extending up the center of the rug; A pair of multi-colored birds are either perched on or flying above each of the cornstalk’s nine paired leaves, with numerous other multi-colored birds and flowers arranged in paired columns on either side of the cornstalk and/or perched on several additional branches that are not actually connected to the cornstalk; Entire scene is woven on a plain white background; Triple border frames rug along sides with the inner border of dark green and turquoise blue having zigzag, serrated edges; Ends of rug are also framed in the same colors, but the green and turquoise blue border is very narrow compared to the black one and all edges are straight; Selvage cords are tan and end cords are light gray.
