| Description | Round shallow dinner plate whose interior and exterior are scraped very smooth, coated with a slip, and highly burnished; Four large contiguous matte gray triangles that are pendant from the rim, form a negative 4-petal floral-like design, with most of the plate completely undecorated; Each of the painted triangles along the rim has a negative circle in it, and each of the negative floral-like petals has a pair of stacked triangles painted on it; Plate was reduction fired to yield a black-on-black design; Signature “Marie” is incised in script on base. | |
