Description | Cylindrical basketry covering (originally held glass jar; See CAS 0569-0007) with flat base and straight sides; Woven in diagonal twining; Warp rods bent over at rim and coil-wrapped; Designs around mid-section consist of 3 plain bands, an upper and lower band in dyed orange willow and a central band in dyed black bracken fern root; Short wire loop handle wrapped in willow is attached to upper sides. | |
