Description Medium-sized round jar-shaped water bottle with slightly convex base, nearly vertical sides, and high shoulder that tapers to a tall cylindrical neck with slightly flared rim; basket is woven entirely in plain diagonal twining; Warp material is probably sumac shoots and weft material is probably peeled and split sumac shoots; Warp rods are bent over at rim and coil-wrapped; 3 V-shaped wooden handles are attached at equidistant points around upper side and shoulder with weft stitches; Interior and exterior are covered with heavy coating of piñon pine pitch.
