Description Acoma Pueblo round black-on-white jar with small diameter base and flaring, rounded sides that curve inward at rim to form a very wide mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped very smooth and covered with white slip; Exterior sides are painted with complex geometric pattern of zigzag bands of triangles; Bands are alternately painted solid black or done in fine-line technique; Negative zigzag lines separate bands of triangles; Signature "Dolores Lewis and Carmel Lewis, Acoma, New Mexico" is printed in black lettering on exterior base.
