| Description | Pair of child’s outer mukluks made with black one-piece seal skin soles with inset bleached sealskin vamps; Uppers are pieced together from several pieces of haired seal skin, using a strip of darker color on the front and a contrasting strip of lighter color around the top; Leg opening is trimmed with strip of commercial blue fabric which enclosed a drawstring; Two holes for the ends of the drawstring are embroidered with green thread; All seams on boots are sewn with sinew. | |
