Description 3-dimensional figure carved from a single piece of wood, depicting a standing Navajo man, wearing black boots, black pants, black shirt, red tie, and short-waisted tan jacket; Pair of dark brown chaps are worn over his pants, fully covering his legs and cinched around his waist; Figure’s black hair is neatly combed and he sports a thin mustache; Figure holds a “lariat” (actually a length of cotton string) folded into several loops in both his hands. No signature is visible.
