| Description | Deep, round (albeit slightly asymmetrical) wheel-thrown bowl with flat base and flaring sides that rise to a slightly everted rim with a flattened lip; Interior base is rounded; Interior and exterior surfaces are all scraped smooth and possibly coated with a buff-colored slip; Design includes series of narrow and wide parallel dark brown lines that encircle midsection of bowl on exterior only, with several of the spaces between adjacent lines filled with a hastily painted zigzag line or with groups of 3 short vertical lines; Heavy dark brown line encircles bowl’s lip; Interior is undecorated. | |
