Description | Round pitcher with flat, narrow base, spherical body with high shoulder, and tall wide neck whose rim is half flared and half pinched in on sides to form spout; Single coiled handle is attached to rim and to shoulder; Pitcher stands on short, lipped pedestal; Overall color is gray and decoration consists of series of shallowly incised lines, including one line encircling base of neck; series of three lines encircling upper edge of shoulder, and series of numerous vertical lines extending from from pedestal base up to lines encircling shoulder. | |
