DIAGNOSIS
This distinctive species has crenulate (= undulating) hind margins to the wings and apices are pointed. This is probably the most common species of palparine antlion found in Madagascar.

This species is found in areas of loose sand.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
All months of the year , except May and September with peak emergence in November and December.
