DIAGNOSIS
The combination of partially doubled costal cells (biareolate), smaller size, lack of distinctive lines or bands, relatively narrow forewing, and presence of an anterior Banksian line all help to define this species.

TYPE LOCALITY
Madagascar: between Morondava & Mahabo, Grandidier.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION
The few known records are from the western part of the country.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
June and August. This is a rather unusual time of year for adult emergence, coming in middle of the Southern Hemisphere winter.
