DIAGNOSIS
 Of the four species of Malagasy Nemoleon, this species has more dark markings than N. madegassus and N. notatus, with dark crossvein margining along R and the hind margin. In the hind wing there is a dark spot below the pterostigma.

TYPE LOCALITY
 Holotype female, Bekily, Madagascar.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION
This species is distributed only in the southern quarter of the island.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
This species has been collected as adults in all months of the year, except August and September.
ELEVATION
80 to 825 m.

REMARKS
This is the most commonly collected species of Nemoleon in Madagascar.
