DIAGNOSIS
 This is the largest species of Syngenes in Madagascar with a wingspan of more than 120 mm. There are no dark wing markings except for a small spot at the rhegma and another at the apex of CuP in the forewing.

GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION
This species is found along the coast in southwestern Madagascar and in Zaire.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
February, March, and May.

Sea level to 200 m.
