DIAGNOSIS
 This is the largest species of Syngenes in Madagascar with a wingspan of more than 120 mm. There are no dark wing markings except for a small spot at the rhegma and another at the apex of CuP in the forewing.

Holotype female, no data.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION
This species is only known from the southernmost part of the island.
TEMPORAL DISTRIBUTION
February, March, April, July, September, November, and December.
ELEVATION
30 to 85 m.
