Diagnosis
This is one of the species with a long, narrow anal lobe near the base of the forewing. It also has the curved, dark line and elongate costal cells, similar to Amoeridops augur. However, it differs from this latter species in that the dark line behind the pterostigma becomes broader posteriorly, almost teardrop shaped. The dark shading along the costal crossveins is broader also. Tjeder and Hansson (1992) give a good description of both male and female.
