Diagnosis
This is one of the Madagascar species with the long, thin anal extension near the base of the forewing. Unlike other similar species, A. radiatus has much more extensive dark pigmentation on both wings: the dark line behind the pterostigma extends to the posterior margin; there is dark shading along the crossveins bordering the radial sector and media veins; and there is a dark spot at the end of the cubital vein.

Geographical Distribution
This species is endemic to Madagascar and is known only from the type specimen.

Remarks
The type specimen is in very poor condition, according to J.R. Steffan of the Paris Museum.
