The original description -- "A single male from Hellville, Nosy-Be, 9.ix.49 (leg. J. Millet), resembles the last mentioned species [Chrysoperla congrua] very closely save that the venation is less regular, the gradates less uniformly arranged and the discoidal cell has its apex overlappeing distally the basal cross-vein descending from the root of Rs. In congrua the apex of this cell is proximal to the level of this cross-vein."
