Forest Leaf-gluing Frog, Afrixalus laevis

Family Hyperoliidae. This genus is distinguished by rhomboidal-shaped (quadratic) pupils. Eggs are deposited along the long-axis of leaves, the outer edges of which are then glued over the egg mass.

Habitat: in forest openings, or on broad-leaf vegetation near watercourses. .

Range: Uganda west to rainforests of Liberia
