Montane Reed Frog, Hyperolius castaneus

Family Hyperoliidae. This is an extremely variable species in coloration, but a black canthal line is usually present.

Habitat: most frequently found in open swamps at higher elevations in the forest.

Range: mountains of eastern Congo, western Rwanda, Burundi and western Uganda.
