Coast foam-nest treefrog, Chiromantis xerampelina
Family Rhacophoridae. Nocturnal. Eggs deposited in a remarkable
foam-nest constructed overhanging temporary water during rains, larvae drop into water below
after 7-9 days development. Call a quiet, subdued chirp. Can tolerate
very high temperatures and can be found sitting in exposed sunlight.
