Bunty's dwarf toad, Mertensophryne micranotis

Family Bufonidae. Remarkable reproduction: fertilization is internal and females are capable of sperm storage, 8-12 eggs laid only in small temporary water sources such as empty snail shells or coconut shells.

Nocturnal/diurnal. Size to 20 mm.
