Holotype (unique): ZIN 31107. •Synonym of Salvelinus alpinus (Linnaeus 1758), but a valid subspecies -- (Reshetnikov et al. 1997:730 [ref. 24702], Dorofeeva & Savvaitova 1998:37 [ref. 23574]). •Valid as Salvelinus andriashevi Berg 1948 -- (Berg 1948:294 [ref. 12882], Bogutskaya et al. 2001:46 [ref. 26178], Chereshnev et al. 2001:96 [ref. 26736], Bogutskaya & Naseka 2004:159 [ref. 28183], Oleinik et al. 2015:Eng. 62 [ref. 33831], Dyldin et al. 2020:89, 113 [ref. 37569]). Current status: Valid as Salvelinus andriashevi Berg 1948. Salmonidae: Salmoninae. Distribution: North Asia: Lake Estikhet near Providence Bay, Chukotka Peninsula (Russia). Habitat: freshwater.
