Paratypes: AMS IA.832 (1), ANSP 51054-55 (2), RMNH uncat. (1). Type catalog: Nijssen et al. 1982:64 [ref. 19236], Böhlke 1984:104 [ref. 13621]. The holotype is also a paralectotype of Crepidogaster indicus Weber 1913. •Valid as Lepadichthys minor Briggs 1955 -- (Myers 1999:230 [ref. 23965], Briggs 2001:500 [ref. 25236], Hutchins 2001:3548 [ref. 26291], Allen & Adrim 2003:26 [ref. 26830], Myers & Donaldson 2003:641 [ref. 27495], Randall et al. 2004:26 [ref. 27624], Randall 2005:506 [ref. 28239], Fricke et al. 2009:97 [ref. 30213], Allen & Erdmann 2012:841 [ref. 31980], Craig et al. 2015:122 [ref. 33898], Fujiwara et al. 2020:[16] [ref. 37337], Briggs 2022:443 [ref. 39965]). •Valid as Lepadicyathus minor (Briggs 1955) -- (Fujiwara et al. 2022:[5] [ref. 38994]). Current status: Valid as Lepadicyathus minor (Briggs 1955). Gobiesocidae: Diademichthyinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: western Mascarenes (La Réunion); Vietnam and eastern Indonesia east to Samoa and Cook Islands, north to Ryukyu Islands (Japan), south to New Caledonia and Tonga. Habitat: marine.
