Figured in Collette 1875:Pl. 3 (figs. 4-6) [ref. 6521]. •Valid as Lebetus scorpioides (Collett 1874) -- (Miller 1973:498 [ref. 6888], Miller in Whitehead et al. 1986:1050 [ref. 13677], McKay & Miller 1997:1464 [ref. 24951], Fricke 2007:27 [ref. 30577], Kovačić & Patzner 2011:187 [ref. 31737], Parin et al. 2014:490 [ref. 33547], Carneiro et al. 2019:182 [ref. 37250], Schliewen et al. 2019:236 [ref. 37165], Parenti 2021:327 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Lebetus scorpioides (Collett 1874). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Western Baltic Sea; North Sea; northeastern Atlantic: Iceland and Norway south to Portugal, including Madeira. Habitat: marine.
