Current status: Valid as Pentaceropsis recurvirostris (Richardson 1845). Pentacerotidae: Histiopterinae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
