Paratypes: UMMZ 125005 (16), UMMZ 124813 (7). •Valid as Lepidomeda altivelis Miller & Hubbs 1960 [but extinct] -- (Lee et al. 1980:202 [ref. 22416], Page & Burr 1991:82 [ref. 18983], La Rivers 1994:472 [ref. 23389], Gilbert 1998:37 [ref. 23395], Nelson et al. 2004:72 [ref. 27807], Scharpf 2005:22 [ref. 28940], Minckley & Marsh 2009:148 [ref. 31114], Page & Burr 2011:179 [ref. 31215], Page et al. 2013:72 [ref. 32708], Page et al. 2023:71 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Lepidomeda altivelis Miller & Hubbs 1960. Leuciscidae: Plagopterinae. Distribution: North America: Nevada (U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
