Lectotype selected by Kawase & Hosoya 2015:294 [ref. 33755]. •Synonym of Pseudorasbora parva (Temminck & Schlegel 1846), but a valid subspecies -- (Okada 1961:461 [ref. 6363]). •Valid as Pseudorasbora pumila Miyadi 1930 -- (Sawada in Masuda et al. 1984:56 [ref. 6441], Kawamura & Hosoya 1997:57 [ref. 24066], Watanabe 1998:262 [ref. 23491], Watanabe et al. 2000:43 [ref. 24482], Kawase & Hosoya 2015:294 [ref. 33755]). •Valid as Pseudorasbora pumila Miyadi 1930, subspecies pumila -- (Kawanabe & Mizuno 1989:300 [ref. 25598], Nakabo 2000:266 [ref. 25086], Pietsch et al. 2001:140 [ref. 25688], Matsuura et al. 2000:112 [ref. 26000]). Current status: Valid as Pseudorasbora pumila Miyadi 1930. Gobionidae. Distribution: Japan. Habitat: freshwater.
