Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:38 [ref. 12291], Böhlke 1984:73 [ref. 13621], Gilbert 1998:62 [ref. 23395]. Appeared first as Scofield in Jordan & Evermann 1896:250 [ref. 2442] without description. •Synonym of Gila bicolor (Girard 1856), but a valid subspecies -- (Gilbert 1998:62 [ref. 23395]). •Synonym of Siphateles bicolor (Girard 1856), but a valid subspecies -- (Scharpf 2005:41 [ref. 28940]). Current status: Synonym of Siphateles bicolor (Girard 1856). Leuciscidae: Laviniinae. Distribution: Oregon, U.S.A. [subspecies columbianus]. Habitat: freshwater.
