Lectotype established in Jordan & Evermann 1896:305 [ref. 2443] and established (as figured specimen) in caption to Pl. 51, p. 3242 in Jordan & Evermann 1900 [ref. 2446]. •Valid as Evarra eigenmanni Woolman 1894 [now presumed to be extinct] -- (Espinosa Pérez et al. 1993:14 [ref. 22290] as now extinct, Gilbert 1998:74 [ref. 23395], Nelson et al. 2004:70 [ref. 27807], Scharpf 2005:17 [ref. 28940], Miller 2006:120 [ref. 28615], Page et al. 2013:70 [ref. 32708], Page et al. 2023:69 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Evarra eigenmanni Woolman 1894. Leuciscidae: Laviniinae. Distribution: Southern North America: Mexico [extinct]. Habitat: freshwater.
