Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Malaysia and western Indonesia east to New Ireland (Papua New Guinea) and Solomon Islands, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to Great Barrier Reef (Queensland, Australia). Habitat: marine.
