Lectotype established by Maugé 1986:379 [ref. 6218]. •Synonym of Paragobiodon echinocephalus (Rüppell 1830) -- (Maugé 1986:379 [ref. 6218], Fricke et al. 2018:337 [ref. 35805], Larson 2022:119 [ref. 39971]). Current status: Synonym of Paragobiodon echinocephalus (Rüppell 1830). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Habitat: marine.
