urophthalmoides, Rasbora Kottelat [M.] 1991:188, Fig. 10 [Ichthyological Exploration of Freshwaters v. 2 (no. 2); ref. 13597] Swamp near Sai Buri River, 43 kilometers northwest of Naratiwat on road 42, Ban La Han, Pattani Province, Thailand. Holotype: ZSM 27796 [now ZRC 38455] [ex CMK 5127]. Paratypes: MHNG 2099.84 (1), 2152.80 (2); MNHN 1983-0099 (3); CMK 4264 (1, c&s). Type catalog: Neumann 2011:257 [ref. 31652]. Holotype now at ZRC. •Valid as Rasbora urophthalmoides Kottelat 1991 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:48 [ref. 23448], Taki et al. 2021:95 [ref. 39830]). •Valid as Boraras urophthalmoides (Kottelat 1991) -- (Kottelat & Vidthayanon 1993:170 [ref. 20833], Rainboth 1996:80 [ref. 22772], Doi 1997:4 [ref. 22832], Conway & Kottelat 2011:45 [ref. 31480], Kottelat 2013:83 [ref. 32989], Petsut et al. 2013:411 [ref. 33424], Sholihah et al. 2020:3 [ref. 37317] as Bororas u.). Current status: Valid as Boraras urophthalmoides (Kottelat 1991). Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mae Klong, Chao Phraya and Mekong River basins, Malay Peninsula, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
