day, Laichowcypris Mai [D. Y.] (ex Hao & Hoa) 1978:28 [Identification of the fresh-water fishes of North Viet Nam v. 1; ref. 13511] Rivers of northwestern Vietnam, south to Dà River, Hòa-Bìììinh. Syntypes: DVZUT. Apparently unavailable from Hao & Hoa 1969 according to Kottelat 1989:1102 [ref. 14361], but Kottelat 2001 [ref. 25482] reversed this interpretation and dated to Nguyen & Doan [= Hao & Hoa] 1969. •See account of Laichowcypris dai Nguyen & Doan 1969. Misspelling. Current status: Uncertain as Cyprinus dai (Nguyen & Doan 1969). Cyprinidae: Cyprininae.
