Current status: Valid as Eigenmannia humboldtii (Steindachner 1878). Sternopygidae: Eigenmanniinae. Distribution: South America: Atrato, Magdalena and Beni River basins (Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela). Habitat: freshwater.
