Current status: Valid as Pseudobatos prahli (Acero P. & Franke 1995). Rhinobatidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of Baja California Sur (Mexico); Gulf of Tehuantepec (Mexico) south to northern Peru. Habitat: marine.
